Guidelines for Computer-based presenters

Conference presentation rooms will have computer data projectors available. Bringing your own laptop, provided it has an appropriate video out plug suitable for connecting to a data projector, is the best way to ensure your computer-based presentation will run successfully.

If you are not bringing your own laptop, we will have a Macintosh laptop available for you to use.

You con bring your Powerpoint presentation either on a USB memory stick or on a CD.

Standard Powerpoint presentations (i.e. presentations with normal text and images) will run equally well on PC and Macintosh. If your presentation has been built on a PC and contains non-standard, complex items involving video, audio, and/or animation, then you should check to see that your presentation will run correctly on the Macintosh platform. Better still, if possible, bring your own laptop.
