Undergraduate
The Faculty of Education offers bachelor degrees in Teaching or Sport and Leisure Studies. Bachelor degrees are for people studying towards a degree for the first time and involve majoring in a main subject by completing papers.
Diplomas and Graduate Diplomas programmes are for people who have a bachelors degree, but want to study a different subject area.
Postgraduate
The Faculty offers a diverse range of postgraduate choices in Education, Educational Leadership, Counsellor Education and Sport and Leisure Studies. Postgraduate Certificates, Postgraduate Diplomas, Honours and taught Master programmes are at postgraduate level and are for people who have a bachelors degree or Graduate Diploma. They usually involve completing taught papers or a combination of taught papers and a directed study or dissertation.
Master and doctoral study are postgraduate research-based qualifications, which require completing a thesis. There are also options to complete a Masters by coursework.
