Located in the Waikato in the heart of New Zealand’s North Island the Faculty of Education’s main Hamilton campus* is set amongst beautifully landscaped surroundings conveniently situated in one location.
The Faculty has come a long way since its establishment more than 50 years ago. These days we have 21 classrooms, two lecture theatres, a research institute (WMIER) a computer suite (Information Centre), an Education Library, a cafe and a marae. These facilities are surrounded by mature trees and established gardens. Sports-minded people are also catered for. Onsite we have a gym, mirror and dance room, swimming and dive pools, playing fields and tennis courts. Outside groups can book some of our facilities through our reception staff.
The Facilities Management Division (FMD) of the University provides further information about parking, security, health and safety on campus and other university facilities.
