Research

We have a reputation for high quality, innovative research in a diverse range of educational contexts. Our researchers are involved in national and international collaborative projects and publish widely. They are committed to making a difference to teaching and learning for students and teachers and also have expertise in areas such as educational leadership, counsellor education and sport and leisure studies.

In addition to receiving departmental support our institutes and centres support emerging and established researchers. Events that cater for researchers, such as symposia, conferences and public lectures are publicised on the University’s events calendar.
