Our initial teacher education programmes in early childhood, primary, secondary, technology and Māori Medium teaching are nationally and internationally recognised. Currently we are rated amongst the top two percent in the world for education (www.qs.com).

We provide practical hands-on teaching opportunities in schools and early childhood services. As a student with us you will broaden your understanding of people and gain skills and knowledge that will prepare you for a teaching career that is enriching, rewarding and worthwhile.

Depending on whether you have studied before or are new to study, we can cater for your needs. We offer bachelor degrees, one-year graduate diplomas and the Masters of Teaching and Learning. Our diverse options mean you can study online or on-campus in Hamilton or Tauranga.
