Postgraduate Certificates

A Postgraduate Certificate (PGCert) is a postgraduate programme ideally tailored for bachelor degree graduates who want a discrete qualification in a particular area.  A PGCert requires 60 points at 500 Level (normally two 30-point papers). Named certificates normally require that students complete papers offered in the relevant list. A Postgraduate Certificate is equivalent to one semester (17 weeks) of full-time (or equivalent part-time) study.

Note: Students may cross-credit 60 points from a PGCert in one subject area to a PGDip or master’s degree in the same subject area prior to having the PGCert conferred.

Note: The PGCertCouns is completed part-time over a two-year period.
