Project

The aim of the project is to investigate possible synergies between current understandings of culturally responsive pedagogy and assessment for learning in the context of primary science classes with a high proportion of Maori students. The goal of the study is to understand and enhance the science learning of the children.

Research Methods

Teacher and researcher meetings and classroom observations with data collected using video, audio, interviews and the collection of teacher and student work samples.
